Looking for Firewalking and Glasswalking in Leicester? Whether you want to challenge yourself, create an unforgettable charity fundraiser or bring a powerful experience to your corporate team, Soul Solutions Hypnotherapy & Empowerment can help.

Step Beyond What You Thought Was Possible

Imagine standing in front of a pathway of glowing hot coals or looking down at a bed of broken glass and thinking, “There is absolutely no way I can do that.”

And then you do.

Firewalking and glasswalking aren’t about being fearless. They’re about discovering what can happen when you challenge the beliefs, doubts and limitations that tell you you can’t.

At Soul Solutions Hypnotherapy & Empowerment, our Firewalking and Glasswalking Events combine mindset, carefully guided challenges and powerful experiences to create something you’re unlikely to forget.

Whether you’re attending one of our public events, raising money for a charity or looking for an unforgettable team-building experience, we’ll work with you to create an event that challenges, inspires and brings people together.

You may arrive wondering whether you can do it.

You could leave knowing that you did.

What Is Firewalking?

Firewalking is the experience of walking barefoot across a bed of hot coals. It may look impossible when you’re standing in front of it, which is exactly why it can be such a powerful personal challenge.

Before the walk, you’ll take part in a preparation session designed to help you feel focused, confident and ready for the experience. You’ll be shown what to do, what to expect and how the firewalk will take place.

For many people, the biggest challenge happens before they ever step onto the coals. It’s that moment when the mind starts saying, “I can’t do this.”

Choosing to take that step can become a powerful reminder that fear doesn’t always have to make your decisions for you.

You don’t have to feel fearless to take the step. You simply have to decide that fear isn’t going to stop you.

What Is Glasswalking?

Glasswalking involves walking barefoot across a bed of broken glass. Just like firewalking, it can look incredibly intimidating when you first see it — and your mind may immediately start giving you plenty of reasons why you shouldn’t do it!

Before anyone steps onto the glass, you’ll be fully prepared and shown exactly what to do. The experience is carefully facilitated and you’ll be guided throughout.

Glasswalking isn’t about proving how brave or tough you are. It’s about noticing the fear, listening to all those “what ifs?” in your head, and discovering that you can still choose to move forward.

For many people, that first step onto the glass becomes symbolic of other challenges in life. If you can face something that initially seemed impossible, what else might you be capable of?

You don’t need to compete with anybody else and there’s no pressure to prove anything. This is your experience, your challenge and your choice.

What Is Arrow Breaking?

Arrow breaking is another powerful challenge that may be included as part of our Firewalking and Glasswalking Events.

An arrow is positioned carefully against the soft area at the base of your throat, while the other end is held securely in position. You then move forward with intention until the arrow bends and eventually breaks.

It can look incredibly intimidating — and once again, that’s part of the experience.

Your mind may immediately tell you to step backwards, stop or question whether you can really do it. Instead, with guidance and preparation, you’re invited to focus on what you’re moving towards, rather than allowing fear to pull you backwards.

The moment the arrow breaks can become a powerful symbol of breaking through a barrier, letting go of a limiting belief or moving beyond something that has been holding you back.

You might choose to give that arrow a meaning before you begin — perhaps a fear, an old belief, self-doubt or something you’re ready to move beyond.

Then you take the step.

Not backwards. Forward.

And crack — through it you go. 🏹

As with all of the activities, participation is always your choice. You’ll be given instructions and preparation beforehand, and there’s no pressure to take part if you decide it isn’t right for you.

Charity Firewalks & Fundraising Events

Looking for a fundraising event that people will talk about long after it’s over?

A sponsored Firewalk or Glasswalk can be an incredible way to bring people together, create excitement and raise money for a cause that really matters.

Soul Solutions Hypnotherapy & Empowerment can work with charities, community groups and fundraising organisations to create and facilitate an event specifically for you.

We can bring the Firewalking and Glasswalking experience to your chosen location, provide the equipment and preparation, guide your participants through the challenges and support you in creating an event that’s exciting, memorable and meaningful.

Imagine your supporters being sponsored to face the fire, overcome their nerves and take those steps across the coals — with friends, family and fellow fundraisers cheering them on.

It’s not just a fundraiser. It’s an experience they’ll remember.

Corporate Firewalking & Glasswalking Events

Forget the usual team-building day. Give your team an experience they’ll still be talking about months later.

Our Corporate Firewalking and Glasswalking Events offer teams the opportunity to step outside their everyday environment, face a very different kind of challenge and support one another through an unforgettable shared experience.

The focus isn’t on competition or forcing anyone outside their limits. It’s about encouragement, connection and discovering what can happen when people support one another through something that initially feels daunting.

Watching a colleague stand in front of the fire thinking “I can’t do this” — and then being there cheering when they take those steps — can create a very different kind of shared experience.

Tailored to Your Organisation

Every organisation is different, so we’ll talk about your group, your venue and what you’d like from the experience.

Whether you’re planning a corporate away day, team-building event, staff wellbeing day, conference or company celebration, we can discuss how Firewalking and Glasswalking could become part of your event.

We can come to your chosen venue, bringing the necessary equipment and facilitating the experience, subject to the venue and event being suitable.

Want to Experience Firewalking or Glasswalking Yourself?

You don’t need to be part of a company or charity to experience Firewalking and Glasswalking.

I also run public events where individuals can come along, challenge themselves and experience Firewalking, Glasswalking and Arrow Breaking in a supportive group environment.

I don’t currently have a public event date scheduled, but if you’d like to know when the next one is announced, get in touch and register your interest.

You don’t need to decide now whether you’ll walk the fire, cross the glass or break the arrow.

Sometimes the first step is simply thinking…

“Maybe I could.” 🔥

What Happens at a Firewalking & Glasswalking Event?

Whether you’re attending one of my public events or we’re bringing the experience to your charity or organisation, preparation always comes before the challenge.

Before taking part, you’ll attend a preparation and empowerment seminar where we’ll explain the activities, what to expect and how each challenge will take place. We’ll explore fear, mindset and limiting beliefs, helping you feel focused and prepared before you approach the fire, glass or arrow.

Our events are facilitated by trained Firewalking Instructors, with participant wellbeing and safety at the forefront of how each experience is prepared and delivered.

Then comes the exciting bit. 🔥

Depending on your event, you’ll have the opportunity to experience Firewalking, Glasswalking and Arrow Breaking. Participation is always your choice — this isn’t about being pressured into doing something. It’s about making that decision for yourself.

One of my favourite parts is the atmosphere that develops within the group. People encourage one another, cheer each other on and celebrate those moments when someone faces something they were convinced they couldn’t do.

And very often, the person who starts out saying…

“There is absolutely NO WAY I’m doing that!”

…is the one with the biggest smile afterwards. 😂

Every Event Is Different

For charity, corporate and private events, we’ll discuss your venue, group size and what you’d like from the experience beforehand so that the event can be planned appropriately.

For public events, all the information you need about the venue, timings, what to bring and what to expect will be provided when dates are announced.

Who Are Firewalking & Glasswalking Events For?

You don’t need to be naturally confident, fearless or adventurous to take part. In fact, these experiences can feel particularly powerful when part of you is thinking, “I’m not sure I can do this!”

People choose Firewalking and Glasswalking for all sorts of reasons. You might want to challenge yourself, step outside your comfort zone, build confidence or simply experience something completely different.

You may be part of a charity or fundraising organisation looking for an exciting sponsored challenge that brings people together and helps raise money for a cause that matters.

Or you may be looking for a corporate or team experience that’s very different from the usual away day — something your colleagues can face together, support one another through and remember afterwards.

And sometimes there’s no deeper reason at all. You might simply look at the fire or glass and think:

“I’d LOVE to say I’ve done that!” 😂🔥

Whatever brings you to the experience, the challenge is personal. There’s no competition, no pressure and nothing to prove to anybody else.

Firewalking & Glasswalking Safety and FAQs

Is Firewalking Safe?

Firewalking involves real heat and therefore carries an element of risk. That’s why preparation, instruction and following the guidance you’re given are so important.

Our events are facilitated by trained Firewalking Instructors, and you’ll receive clear instructions before taking part. Nobody is pressured to walk, and you can change your mind at any point.

Will I Need to Sign a Waiver?

Yes. Before taking part, all participants will be asked to read and sign a participation waiver.

Firewalking, Glasswalking and Arrow Breaking are physical challenge activities and involve an inherent element of risk. The waiver confirms that you understand the nature of the activities, have been made aware of the potential risks involved and are choosing to participate voluntarily.

You’ll also receive preparation and clear instructions before taking part, and it’s important that you follow the guidance given throughout the event.

Signing the waiver doesn’t mean you have to complete a challenge. Participation remains your choice, and you can decide not to take part or change your mind at any time.

Can You Burn Your Feet?

Because you’re walking across hot coals, minor burns or “fire kisses” can occasionally happen.

You’ll be prepared beforehand and shown how to approach the Firewalk correctly. It’s then completely your choice whether you wish to participate.

Is Glasswalking Safe?

Walking on broken glass also carries an element of risk. The glass bed is prepared specifically for the activity, and you’ll be given clear instructions and guidance before taking part.

Small scratches or cuts are possible, which is why it’s important to follow the instructions carefully.

Does Glasswalking Hurt?

Everyone’s experience is different. You may feel pressure or unusual sensations beneath your feet as you walk across the glass.

The important thing is to take your time, listen to the instructions and remain focused on what you’re doing.

Do I Have to Take Part in Everything?

Absolutely not.

Every challenge is voluntary. You can choose whether to take part in Firewalking, Glasswalking or Arrow Breaking, and you can change your mind at any point.

There’s no competition and no pressure to prove anything.

Is There a Minimum Age?

Our Firewalking and Glasswalking experiences are usually suitable for people aged 14 and over.

Anyone under 18 will need appropriate consent from a parent or guardian. Any specific age requirements for an individual event will be made clear when booking.

Can I Drink Alcohol Before Taking Part?

No. Please do not drink alcohol before taking part in Firewalking, Glasswalking or Arrow Breaking.

It’s important that you’re able to understand and follow the instructions clearly. Anyone who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs may not be permitted to participate.

What If I Have Diabetes or Problems With My Feet?

Please let me know before taking part if you have diabetes, reduced sensation or circulation in your feet, particularly thin or fragile skin, an existing foot injury, or another condition that could affect your ability to feel or respond to heat or injury.

Depending on your individual circumstances, Firewalking or Glasswalking may not be appropriate for you. If you’re unsure, you may wish to seek advice from an appropriate healthcare professional beforehand.

What If I Have Limited Mobility?

Please contact me beforehand if you have limited mobility, difficulty walking or problems with balance.

Where appropriate, we’ll discuss what support may be possible and whether the activity can be adapted for you. I want people to feel included wherever reasonably possible, but your safety will always come first.

Can I Take Part If I’m Pregnant?

Pregnancy doesn’t automatically mean you can’t attend a Firewalking or Glasswalking Event. However, activities such as Firewalking and Glasswalking involve physical movement and carry risks, including the possibility of losing your balance or falling.

Please let me know beforehand if you’re pregnant so we can discuss the activities involved. You may also wish to speak with your midwife or healthcare professional before deciding whether to participate.

What Should I Wear?

Wear comfortable clothing that you can move easily in and footwear that’s easy to remove and put back on.

For Firewalking, avoid clothing that’s excessively loose around your lower legs. Any additional information about clothing or what to bring will be provided before the event.

What If I Decide I Don’t Want to Do It?

That’s absolutely fine.

Taking part is always your choice. Even if you arrive intending to complete a challenge, you can change your mind at any point.

Sometimes empowerment is taking the step forward — and sometimes it’s having the confidence to say “No, this isn’t right for me today.”

There is no embarrassment, no judgement and no pressure to take part.
